Plans can change quickly with a newborn. Contact DarDoc as soon as you know that a shift or care plan needs to change.
One-time bookings
One-time changes and cancellations follow the applicable DarDoc terms and the notice provided. The available outcome can depend on timing, whether a caregiver has already been allocated or dispatched, and the circumstances.
Where the applicable terms provide a booking credit, the Care Team can explain its use and validity.
Subscription bookings
Changing an individual shift does not automatically cancel the subscription. Tell the Care Team whether you are requesting:
One rescheduled shift
A recurring schedule change
A temporary pause request
A permanent cancellation
Cancelling future renewal
Ask the Care Team to confirm the effective date and whether the current paid cycle remains active.
Subscriptions run in 28-day cycles. Do not assume that stopping one shift or telling the caregiver will cancel future billing.
Keep the record clear
Make cancellation and payment requests through DarDoc, not privately with the caregiver. Keep the written confirmation for your records.
For the current policy that applies to your booking, review DarDoc’s Terms and Conditions or contact the Care Team.
Why notice matters
A caregiver may already have been allocated, briefed, or travelling. Giving notice as early as possible gives DarDoc more opportunity to reschedule responsibly and explain the available financial outcome.
What to keep
Save:

This creates a clear record if you later have a question about a charge or future shift.
