Plans change. Contact DarDoc as early as possible if you need to move an appointment, change the address, adjust a home-care schedule, or cancel.
The available options depend on the service and how much notice you provide.
Contact DarDoc, not the visiting professional
Schedule, address, price, payment, and cancellation changes must go through the DarDoc Care Team or the relevant DarDoc booking journey.
A caregiver or visiting professional may not have access to the systems needed to update the booking correctly. An informal agreement with the professional does not necessarily change the paid booking.
Information to include
Send:
Booking or care-plan reference
Customer or recipient name
Current date and time
Requested new date and time
Reason for the request
New address, if applicable
Whether the change affects one visit or the full plan
Clear information helps the team check availability more quickly.
One-time Home Nursing bookings
For one-time or fixed-duration Home Nursing, request a reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled service start.
Changes remain subject to caregiver availability and travel feasibility. A request that creates a long idle gap or a fragmented shift may not be possible.
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for DarDoc Wallet Credit under the published terms. Cash-refund conditions may differ. A cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice may cause the next scheduled care day to be treated as used.
For longer one-time plans, a partial cancellation may also affect whether the same caregiver can continue with the remaining schedule.
Subscription Home Nursing
Home Nursing subscriptions run in 28-day cycles.
Service days are built into the recurring care plan. Individual subscription days are generally not moved to another day. Start or end times may be adjusted with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Subscription plans cannot normally be frozen or paused. If your needs have changed, contact the Care Team to discuss the available options before the next renewal.
Cancelling a subscription
Cancelling automatic renewal means the subscription is set to end at the conclusion of the current paid cycle.
You normally continue receiving the paid service until that cycle ends. Mid-cycle cancellation does not automatically create a refund for unused days.
Ask the Care Team to confirm:
Whether cancellation is scheduled
The final service date
Whether another payment will occur
Whether the assigned caregiver will remain until the end
Changing your service address
Same-city address changes require advance notice and depend on route feasibility.
Cross-city or cross-emirate changes can require cancellation of the existing plan and creation of a new booking because professional availability, travel, licensing, and pricing may differ.
Never assume a caregiver can follow the booking to another emirate.
Upgrading or reducing care
You may be able to increase hours or add eligible care, subject to availability and additional payment.
Reducing a plan can affect the hourly price, caregiver assignment, and when the change takes effect. For subscriptions, some reductions may apply only from the next cycle.
Ask for the updated plan and price before confirming.
Repeated changes
Frequent cancellations and reschedules can make it difficult to keep a caregiver reserved and may cause a booking to become non-flexible under the applicable terms.
If your schedule is uncertain, tell the Care Team before creating a recurring plan. A different arrangement may suit you better.
Emergencies and exceptional circumstances
DarDoc may review genuine emergencies individually. Approval is not automatic and supporting information may be required.
Travel, social plans, visitors, or a general change of preference are not normally treated as medical emergencies.
Get written confirmation
After requesting a change, wait for DarDoc to confirm it.
Your request is not complete merely because a message was sent. Keep the confirmation so the customer, Care Team, and professional are working from the same schedule.
