Bringing a baby home can be joyful, beautiful, exhausting, and unfamiliar all at once. DarDoc Newborn Care gives families dependable practical support at home while keeping parents informed, involved, and in control of their baby’s routine.
Who provides the care?
DarDoc Newborn Care is delivered by certified caregivers or nursing assistants. DoH and DHA do not issue professional licences for this category. This is different from categories such as registered nurses, which have separate professional licensing requirements.
Every DarDoc newborn caregiver is:
• Directly employed by DarDoc
• BLS certified
• KHDA certified
• NICU trained
• Medically tested
• Experienced in newborn care for at least two years
DarDoc does not use freelancers or partner-provider workers for this service.
Profiles and interviews before confirmation
Families can review profiles and interview available caregivers before signing a contract or making payment. DarDoc considers your baby’s age, preferred schedule, location, type of support, and relevant care requirements before proposing an available caregiver.
What can a newborn caregiver help with?
Support can include feeding routines and bottle preparation, burping and settling, diaper changes, hygiene and bathing, soothing, sleep routines, overnight care, organising the baby’s immediate care area, breastfeeding support within the caregiver’s training, practical postnatal support, care for premature babies returning home after NICU, and sharing observations with parents.
A caregiver does not replace a paediatrician, diagnose a medical condition, prescribe treatment, or provide emergency medical care.
One-day and occasional care
Subject to availability, families can request 4-hour or 6-hour care for a single day. Longer one-time arrangements may also be possible. Tell the Care Team your location, preferred date, hours, and what support you need so availability can be checked.
Recurring and longer-term care
Subscriptions operate in 28-day cycles and suit families who want care on an agreed recurring schedule. If you need care for longer than 28 days, speak with the DarDoc Care Team for the current longer-term options and pricing.
Day and night shifts
Day and night shifts are available subject to caregiver availability. A night shift cannot start later than 10:30 PM and cannot finish before 6:30 AM. The final shift timing and caregiver assignment must be confirmed by the Care Team.
Where is Newborn Care available?
DarDoc covers Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain. Limited coverage is available in parts of Sharjah and must be checked case by case. Availability also depends on the exact area, requested schedule, caregiver match, and care requirements.
How does booking work?
• Tell the DarDoc Care Team about your baby, location, preferred days and hours, and support requirements
• DarDoc checks caregiver availability and proposes a suitable profile
• You can review the profile and interview the available caregiver
• The schedule and care arrangement are agreed
• You receive a secure Stripe payment link
• The booking is confirmed after payment succeeds
• DarDoc briefs the caregiver before the first shift
How much does Newborn Care cost?
Pricing is available on the live DarDoc Newborn Care page and may change. The final amount depends on factors such as location, shift length, number of days, one-time or subscription format, schedule, and caregiver availability.
