There is no single schedule that suits every newborn family. DarDoc can help arrange care around the hours that place the most pressure on your household, subject to caregiver availability.
Daytime care
Daytime support may help with feeds, bathing, settling, appointments, household transitions, or giving a recovering parent protected time to rest. It can also support families when a parent returns to work or when older children have their own routines.
One-day and occasional care
Families can request 4-hour or 6-hour care for a single day, subject to availability. One-time care may help with a recovery day, appointment, work commitment, family event, or a period when additional support would make home life more manageable.
Longer one-time arrangements may also be possible. Tell the Care Team your location, preferred date, requested hours, and the type of support you need so a suitable caregiver can be checked.
Night and overnight care
Night care can help parents share the workload and recover between periods when they are personally needed. A night shift cannot start later than 10:30 PM and cannot finish before 6:30 AM. The exact start and finish time remains subject to caregiver availability and confirmation by the DarDoc Care Team.
For a breastfed baby, the caregiver may bring the baby to the mother and handle agreed settling or changing tasks around the feed. Overnight care does not mean the baby will not wake. It means an experienced caregiver is present to support the agreed routine.
Recurring care
A 28-day subscription suits families who want care on an agreed recurring schedule. The team confirms the days, hours, caregiver availability, and care arrangement before payment.
Longer-term arrangements
Families may need support beyond one 28-day cycle. Speak with the DarDoc Care Team about the overall duration and schedule you have in mind. The team will explain the current longer-term options and pricing.
Choosing a schedule
It is often more useful to place care during your most difficult hours than to choose a larger plan without a clear purpose. Tell the Care Team about feeding patterns, parent rest, work commitments, the baby’s routine, your location, and your budget boundaries. The team can help turn those needs into a practical schedule.
