Why was DarDoc created?
DarDoc was founded in 2021 by Samer Masri and Keswin Suresh after both founders experienced how difficult arranging care at home could be.
The National reported that Keswin’s experience of needing treatment from nurses at home exposed inconsistent and highly manual home-care processes. Samer connected with the problem through the experience of arranging care for his late mother while living at a distance.
Those experiences shaped a company that wanted to improve both sides of home healthcare: the human experience for the patient and the operational systems needed to coordinate care properly.
The name reflects that purpose. “Dar” means home in Arabic.

DarDoc was established in Abu Dhabi and has participated in several recognised UAE innovation programmes.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office listed DarDoc among the startups presented during Department of Health Abu Dhabi Innovation Week 2023.

DarDoc publishes details of its Dubai Digital Clinic, Home Healthcare, and Pharmacy licences on its website. The Abu Dhabi Department of Health also lists Dardoc Health Technologies Limited among companies registered to provide healthcare services through mobile applications.
