Can I book DarDoc for a family member, child, or visitor?

Yes. You can arrange many DarDoc services for a parent, partner, child, newborn, relative, employee, or visitor, provided the correct personal and clinical information is supplied and the required consent is available.

Yes. You can arrange many DarDoc services for a parent, partner, child, newborn, relative, employee, or visitor, provided the correct personal and clinical information is supplied and the required consent is available.

The person making the booking and the person receiving care do not always need to be the same person.

Booking for a family member

When booking for someone else, clearly identify:

  • Your name and relationship to the person

  • The care recipient’s full name

  • Their age or date of birth

  • Their contact details when appropriate

  • The service address

  • Relevant health information

  • The service being requested

  • Any communication or accessibility needs

This helps DarDoc prepare the correct professional and prevents the booking from being attached to the wrong person.

Booking for a newborn or child

A parent or legal guardian must provide the information and consent required for a service involving a person under 18.

For Newborn Care, the DarDoc Care Team may ask about:

  • The baby’s age or expected delivery date

  • Whether the baby was born prematurely

  • Any NICU history

  • Feeding method and current routine

  • Relevant medical notes

  • The support the family is looking for

  • Preferred days and hours

  • The home address

Share only information that is accurate and relevant. If a question requires clinical judgment, the team may ask you to speak with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Booking for an older parent

When arranging Adult and Elderly Care, describe what the person can do independently and where they need support.

Useful information can include:

  • Mobility and fall risk

  • Daily routines

  • Communication needs

  • Memory or orientation concerns

  • Medication routines

  • Personal care needs

  • Recent hospital discharge

  • Existing professional support

  • The hours when help is most needed

Do not describe a person only by a diagnosis. Two people with the same diagnosis may need very different forms of help.

Booking for a visitor to the UAE

Visitors can use eligible DarDoc services.

A passport or other valid identification may be required for clinical records, prescriptions, testing, or another regulated part of the service. Provide the visitor’s UAE address, hotel details, and a working contact number.

If you want to arrange care before the visitor arrives, contact DarDoc early enough to confirm coverage and availability.

Booking for an employee or guest

Some at-home services may be delivered at an office, hotel, or event location when the environment is appropriate.

Group requests and corporate arrangements require additional planning. Tell the DarDoc Care Team:

  • The number of people

  • The required service

  • The venue

  • The preferred date and time

  • Any access restrictions

  • The person responsible for coordination

Consent and privacy

Making the payment does not give the purchaser unlimited access to another person’s health information.

DarDoc shares clinical information according to consent, legal requirements, guardianship rules, and the needs of the care journey. An adult receiving care may need to consent before results or clinical details are discussed with another family member.

Parents and legal guardians can exercise relevant privacy rights for minors, subject to healthcare record-retention requirements.

The best way to start

Tell the DarDoc Care Team that you are booking for someone else at the beginning of the conversation. This allows us to create the journey around the person actually receiving care and helps the professional arrive properly prepared.
