Result time depends on the biomarkers ordered, laboratory workflow, sample quality, transport, weekends or holidays, and whether a test requires specialised processing.
Check the estimate before booking
Each live test page should show the expected turnaround time. Common panels may be available relatively quickly, while specialised allergy, genetic, culture, or other tests can take longer.
An estimate is not a guarantee
DarDoc’s published laboratory terms explain that displayed turnaround times are indicative. A quality check, repeat analysis, sample issue, or laboratory delay can extend the timeframe.
Where results appear
Results are made available through the DarDoc platform or the secure method connected to your booking. Keep your account information current and protect access to health information.
If one result is missing
A panel can contain tests with different processing times. Some values may become available before the complete report. Ask whether the result is partial before assuming an item was omitted.
If the result is delayed
Confirm the estimated timeframe for the exact test
Check your registered contact information and account
Share the booking or order reference with the Care Team
Do not repeat the test elsewhere solely because a result is a few hours late without first checking
Seek medical care based on symptoms rather than waiting for a retail result
Urgent symptoms take priority
If you feel seriously unwell, do not wait for an expected laboratory result. Seek appropriate urgent or emergency assessment.
