DarDoc may offer selected blood tests for children, family members, and visitors. Availability and suitability depend on the panel, patient age, consent, identification, collector capability, and location.
Booking for another person
Use the details of the person who will actually be tested. Do not place the booking under your own patient identity if the sample belongs to someone else.
Children and minors
A parent or legal guardian must provide the required consent and identification. Check whether the selected panel is available for the child’s age and whether the collector assigned is able to perform paediatric collection.
Preparing a child
Explain the visit honestly in age-appropriate language
Avoid promising that it will not hurt
Keep the child hydrated when permitted
Bring a comfort item or distraction
Allow extra time and remain calm
Tell the collector about previous fainting, difficult collection, or severe anxiety
Visitors to the UAE
Visitors should use valid Passport details and provide a reachable local contact number and complete address. Hotel or building access should be confirmed in advance.
Results and medical follow-up
Make sure the correct patient can access the result and that a qualified clinician reviews anything that requires context. A parent or guardian should manage follow-up for a minor.
Check before paying
Contact DarDoc or use the live test page to confirm age eligibility, identification, preparation, and collection availability.
