Decoded Treatment Foundation shade and application guide

Decoded Treatment Foundation combines complexion coverage with a skincare-focused formula in seven shade families.

Decoded Treatment Foundation is designed to provide lightweight, buildable complexion coverage while supporting the skincare underneath. The formula is described around barrier-supporting ceramides, moisturising glycerin, vitamin E, and peptide support.

The seven shade families

  • Shade 1: Ivory to light

  • Shade 2: Light to fair

  • Shade 3: Medium

  • Shade 4: Medium to tanned

  • Shade 5: Olive

  • Shade 6: Dark

  • Shade 7: Darker

How to choose a shade

Compare the options in natural daylight and use the live shade guide. The face, neck, chest, and inner wrist can look different, so the best match is usually the shade that blends most naturally across the jawline and neck.

Screen brightness, camera processing, and lighting can change how a shade appears online. If you sit between two shades, consider the finish and season as well as depth.

How to apply

  1. Complete your morning skincare and apply sunscreen.

  2. Allow the layers underneath to settle.

  3. Apply a small amount of foundation to the face.

  4. Blend with clean fingers, a sponge, or a brush.

  5. Build thin layers only where more coverage is needed.

  6. Remove thoroughly at the end of the day and cleanse the skin.

If your foundation pills or separates

Use less product, allow sunscreen to settle, and reduce the number of heavy layers underneath. Pilling can happen when textures or application methods do not work well together.

Shade returns

DarDoc accepts returns only for sealed products. Once the foundation has been opened, tested, or used, it is not eligible for return. Review the shade guide carefully before breaking the seal.
